Upper control arms

Does anybody run element hard parts UCA? I am looking for feedback on them. Are they worth the money? I can't find any information on them.

Never heard of them. At $650, you're better off just going with one of the better known brands. Love my Camburg. Easy to install and no squeaks.

I agree, but I wanted to get some input first.

if DK arent in stock (they almost always are) I'd definitely run Element uppers. Camburg are way down on the list of brands i'd run. nothing wrong with them just the way it is for me personally.

DK
TC

always my top 2.

Or just buy directly from DK and talk to Greg. If you're gonna drive down from Menifee may as well go straight to the source, and get to checkout their ever expanding shop.

Don't mean to hi-jack but I saw ARB just came out with their own UCA's last year, has anyone tried those out or know anything good or bad?

Element has a great product, and their bushing design is probably the best. The downside is going to be the uniball, and the maintenance required to keep them clean. Their tube UCA's have been out for quite some time now, and they also started offering a Billet option more recently that has a lot a good feedback. Going with a UCA that has a sealed joint would be the way to go. The Icon UCA's with Delta Joints are going to be the best, and Dirt King would be next. Dirt King uses Moog ball joints which can be found at most part stores, and Icon are unique to them.

No love for the Ironman UCA's? I finally 95% decided on them, and then I see this thread and I'm back to square one lol.

Can't go wrong with SPC.

Apparently you can lol. I got shit on in another thread for saying the SPCs were good.

Supposedly they're susceptible to catastrophic failures but honestly I think people just don't know how to drive their trucks. I've only had the SPCs on my truck for about 8k miles so I can't really speak for their longevity/quality but they were highly recommended by my installer so I went with SPC. Plus Icon had a 6 month lead time..

That thread is what scared me away from SPC to begin with. I don't mind spending money on a quality component, but I prefer something that is relatively maintenance free and (most importantly) lasts. I've read good things about Ironman - but there's just so many damn choices!!

Everything is susceptible to major failures, and SPC did have some a few years ago. Not so much in recent years though.

Very happy with my Ironman UCAs. Similar to factory for NVH (noise vibration harness) vs poly bushings etc of some other designs. They are relatively new on the UCA front here so wide experiences are generally lacking. You might find more info about them on the Prado and GX boards.
