2 kayaks + cargo box?

Is there any way to have 2 kayaks and still be able to mount some sort of cargo box? Do any of the Pelican or Roam adv boxes allow you to mount anything on them?

Thanks in advance.

What roof rack do you have? I’m guessing with something like a full length prinsu, and 2 J cradles, you could squeeze a small box in front of the kayaks. Pic for example:

The Pelican Cargo cases have integrated tie down points but I haven't read anything about them being designed for mounting.

In the below pic of the BX 140 you can see the tie down point on the far left of the picture just above the handle.

A set of wide rack bars and feet that clamp to the factory rack would allow you mount whatever you want, within load limits. I use a pair of 66" bars for a kayak next to two paddle boards stacked up.

You could always use a really wide set of Thule load bars and mount the kayaks right at the outside.

I have to use a step ladder to get my kayaks on my 4Runner. 3" lift and 285's makes it a touch tall even at 5'10"
