motion sickness, suspension upgrade

So, in just purchased brand new SR5 my co-pilot gets motion sick while on road driving
We didn't have this problem in most other cars including rental 4runner once before. This is a huge disappointment...

Any suggestions on minimal suspension upgrade to mitigate this problem?

Thank you!
----------------------
P.S. To response to a few comments and suggestions: This is not the first car we own or drive. But the first to have this issue. We owned a few different ones and we rented a few including 4runner and didn't have the problem. It appears we are sensitive to this particular one. Question is how to correct this without paying arm or leg...
---------------------
P.P.S. I'm ready to do this now, but I'd like to find a quick strut assembly to do it myself. Could somebody suggest one without lift?
Bilstein doesn't seem to have quick strut and Rancho only has 2" lift which I don't want.
‐--------------------
PPPS Thank you everybody for your responses I have replaced front shocks with Bilstein 5100 and it seems to have solved the problem!
More tests to follow....

Agreed. After owning two Jeeps and renting Jeeps several times with their harsh suspension, I really like the 4Runner soft suspension when going off road.

Most inexpensive option, replace the shocks with 5100 bilstein.

Test drive != trade in

But seeing if the Limited's suspension helps will help determine what you may want to do to modify your SR5.

A passenger browsing their phone while truck is moving will cause some motion sickness.

Yes, but it doesn't happen in every car. It didn't happen in 4runner we rented a few year back.
Question is how to correct this without paying arm or leg

My girlfriend has to take Dramamine on longer drives so I'll suggest that again. Hard braking and hard turning also gets her when she rides in her friends SUV. I generally drive slower and smoother. I don't know your driving habits but factor that in.
Your person could also try driving it to help alleviate the sickness.

As far as suspension, 5100s will probably be your cheapest and best bet to get rid of the nose dive and possible boat feeling. I'm running Dobinsons myself. Eibach and Ironman are probably good options as well.
