Rear window washer fluid
I'm at work and don't have my manual sitting in front of me.
Is there a separate reservoir for rear window washer fluid? My front ran out and I refilled it. It's working fine but the rear has no fluid being sprayed out.

All comes from the same tank. If you haven't used the rear for a while, it might require you to hold the button for a while, keep holding it will eventually spray unless it's clogged at the tip. Make sure you don't run water in there.

Just as dekeman says, it all comes from the same tank. If you do run out, it may take several minutes for the fluid to pump all the way to the rear again. This has happened with me as well. Also, if you didn't know, if you register here Toyota Owners Online | Official Toyota Owners Website you can get access to your owner manuals, videos, etc from Toyota which prove very useful when you don't have your manual in front of you.

Low Washer Light?
Ok boys and girls, you ready for a stupid newbie question? here goes, I bought my 4Runner on 11/6 yesterday I couldn't get my rear window washer to spray, though I could hear the pump and my front was fine, I called and made a service appointment for tomorrow. Today I find my front isn't working either so I figure maybe it's just out... I refill it and sure enough now both front and back work fine...duh.
so here's the question, does my 2017 $40,000.00 Toyota 4Runner TRD Off-Road not have a F*****K low washer fluid light warning or some other indicator? every other car I have ever owned in my memory has had such an indicator, or alternatively is the indicator not functioning properly?

No low fluid light on this vehicle. Bit odd if you ask me.

and no blinker fluid indicator either. For a $40k+ rig, that should be standard

There is a low washer fluid indicator, it'll show up in the little screen in the middle.

is it possible that this is different on US cars than Canada? No idea why Toyota would bother with this, but as you can see I am getting mixed answers. it seems crazy to me that they wouldn't have it... pretty sure I had one on my 1993 Chevy Cavalier when I was 16. The reason this matters to me is if I have it, it isn't working, but I really don't want to waste time with a service appointment only to discover that nothing is broken, this simply isn't a feature.

It would be strange to not be the same for US and Canada?? I can confirm my Canadian Limited does indeed tell me. I was pumped the first time I saw it, first vehicle of mine new enough to do so I guess.

There is no low windshield washer fluid warning light on U.S. models of the 4Runner.
My Canadian 2011 Limited does have a low windshield washer fluid warning light (page 569 of my 2011 Toyota 4Runner Owner's Manual)

My front washers work great...until all the fluid runs out. When I run the rear washer, I hear the pump running...because its pumping fluid into oblivion. It's leaking all along the passenger side running board.
Before I climb under to try to figure it out, anyone have experience with this?
Thanks.

I was a bit confused the first time I opened the hood after dark....40k, no damn light for the engine bay??
The 92 Silverado I used to have came with a detachable engine bay light on a wheel with a little handle to wind it back in after you use it.

That's because GM engineers knew how they designed the truck, and knew you'd need that light. Often. No such need with a 4R.
