Thank you. Was worried it may cause issues if the battery was connected while charging.

Charger is definitely rated for AGM, has a AGM mode.

I was contemplating doing the quick connect plug instead since the alligator clips convert to it. But its quite likely ill only need to charge a couple times a year before long trips.

Your alternator won't bring a AGM battery to full charge it only maintains it. try to put it on a charger once a month and top it off, this will make the Battery last longer and be more reliable.

For now i am not running down the battery when not driving. So since it was 100% charged when I installed I assume it will stay100% since it will maintain it?


I'm still puzzled why people get the 34 when its not a OEM fit and the 24 has more capacity.
