2020 illumination wiring on windshield warmer switch colours

I am trying to install an AOB switch in my 2020 for front lighting and I am trying to hook up for illumination but the wiring on my windshield warmer switch do not match up with what I've read online (green and gray wires)

I have
BLACK
Red
Green
White
Yellow

Has this changed for newer 4runners? Any help would be appreciated

Also. If I don't hook.up illumination do AOB switches just stay lit up all the time?

I don't know if they've changed wiring on newer models, but what I can tell you is that I've never hooked any of my switches up to illumination. The way my switches operate is they only illuminate if I push them on. Otherwise they are off. Only thing that's kind of a pain is when driving at night, the switches are not lit up to match the dash lights lighting up when you turn on the headlights. So at night I can't see my aftermarket switches, but it's not that big of a deal because I know exactly where they all are and don't even have to look.

Here is what I did when installing Raptor Lights.
White wire is the illumination wire.

Thank you! That's exactly what I was looking for.

And you had no issues when hooked up this way? I've read of people having electrical issues when hooking it up wrong and that is the last thing I need!

Absolutely no issues.
I always test the circuit before making the connection.

The color code on the wiring changed from my 2014 to the 2021 models on that illumination circuit.

@daytonaviolet ,
The AOB switch supports backlight illumination and indication on the ones I use.
If it is supposed to illuminate when the parking lights are on and supposed to illuminate when the device it’s terminated to is turned on, then he’s good to go.

I assume you are running your circuit thru a relay, correct?

If not, I strongly recommend it!

Thank you for the info! and Yes I have a relay in there, I am in the ACC fuse spot so I will be changing the fuse in the Add a fuse to 7.5A from the 10A that it came with.

I will probably wire up the illumination wires tonight, thanks again.
