Partial Cover

Hello.

Is there any partial covers for the 5G that covers only to the bottom of the windows and windshield? I am looking because I am expecting to spend a couple of nights at rest areas along the way to Moab, UT. and rest area lights are always a problem. Alternatively, are there any window coverings made to block the light?

Thanks a lot.

2018 Toyota 4Runner SUV Windshield Sun Shades, Car Window Shades and Car Window Covers by HeatShield - The Original Windshield Sunshade

This website sells an entire set of window shades. I have them and they make a huge difference in the temperature inside. Tips: They mount by friction fit and suction cups. Be careful how you remove the suction cups as you could rip the cup off of the shade. If you crack your window open a bit you can get rid of the hot air between the glass and the shade.

Thanks.

For temperature control I use Aluminets. They block the light but let air in, they make a huge difference in the internal temperatures. What I am looking is a way to block light altogether so that I can get a shuteye. In rest areas, in the USA, for safety, there are plenty of lights and you cannot park your car anywhere without having one or two lights illuminating inside your eye through the windows.

I think I will cut out cardboard to fit the windows.

I'd go for the roll of reflectix and cut to shape. Aluminum tape or duct tape if you have to join two pieces to make it big enough. Reflectix BP24010 Series Foil Insulation, 24 in. x 10 ft - Weatherproofing Window Insulation Kits - Amazon.com
