Ayone else running Summit Offroad wheels? what lug nnut type?

I ordered some Summit Racing Raptor wheels and was wondering if anyone else is using wheels from them and if ET style conical lugs fit? Or will they only fit normal thin spline drive type conical lugs(non ET)?

I would prefer to run ET style if possible to get the most threads possible.

I know there are some 4runner pics out there with Summits but not sure if anyone is on here.

Thanks in advance.

I’m waiting on my wheels as well but if it helps, they only carry one type of lug type on their website. I’m assuming that’s the type you’re expecting?

Here is a close shot of someone’s wheels:

Thanks. It does look like they only sell one lug, but it is because it has their name on those. Sometimes ET style lugs can fit so I am hoping that they do since they would grab much more threads that way.

The extra set of car wheels I have for snow tires which are cheap knockoffs from discounttire fit ET lugs so I am hoping these fit too.

I just scored the Raptor's too. After seeing a buddy's "Enkei RPT's" he told me they were really Summit Onyx wheels.

Typically I’d ask the manufacturer, or dealer, what they recommend for lugs.

Funny enough I did call them up directly yesterday and the guy who answered didn't know what ET lugs were and had no idea about them fitting or not...

Tbh, I didn’t think ET was a factor unless the vehicle’s bolts were extended. I always thought it came down to the correct thread pitch then rim seating and diameter for the wheel lock. With that said, looking forward to see others chime in.

BTW - good to see some former Nissan rwd guys in here. Summit makes some nice replicas but their offset/ concaveness seems to be just perfect.

ET(extended thread) refers to the threads going through the wheel lug hole, not the length of the lug. I think you are referring to extended lug nuts which are usually long open ended lug nuts used in racing applications.

I still have my G35 but its a side project for now and just sits on a lift in my garage. I do have an entire 3.8L sleeved block setup that just needs to be assembled but I sort of lost interest to finish it immediately.

Wished they still carried the Onyx. I still want a set.

Ah, I see what you mean. I ordered mines a few weeks ago so will keep this thread updated if it comes in anytime soon.

My DE-powered Z is also on the sideline but with how rare it is to find a decent rwd manual, it’ll be fun to open her up again soon. Can’t believe it’s almost 20 years old.

Thanks! Would appreciate an update if you get them. I will do the same. Did you order Raptors as well? or the Dakars? The Raptor shows in stock so I am hoping it ships fairly quick and not weeks+

I went with the Dakars during the wave before the recent Raptor restock. I believe my delay is due to the manufacturer and not the vendor shipping out of California. Hopefully, your Raptors were stocked.

got mine and just as an FYI, no ET lug nuts will not fit. the holes are just enough for the wheel stud.
