Wanted to post this for anyone else curious about this tire size on a stock suspension.
I feel like I got a bunch of different answers when researching this.
I went with E rated Toyo Open Country AT3's 285/70/17. Put them on SCS 17x8.5 Ray10 -10mm offset
Some people said I would need a chop, some said I would only need to do fender liner mod.
All I ended up having to Do, besides the fender liner mod, which was not really rubbing much at all, if any, is trim just a hair off the bottom of the bumpers.
Used a Dremel and cutting wheel
NO RUBBING ANYWHERE NOW, even at full lock

Weird. I have a TRD OR with stock suspension, the exact SCS wheels you have, and smaller tires, Falken Wildpeak AT3W 265/70R17. I had MAJOR rubbing. I moved the fender liner as much as possible and trimmed a good amount of the plastic in the way, and I still have rubbing. Not a big problem, but it rubs at full lock no matter how much I keep trimming. Just making a sharp turn into my slightly inclined driveway causes a good amount of rubbing. I do a lot of offroading. Nothing extreme, only moderate trails, and it rubs all the time on uneven roads. There must be a big difference with the Falkens and the Toyos.
