How many miles on these tires?

Why load range C for these?

With this tire, about 30,000. Load C was cheaper and lighter. I don't go off-roading that much. More of a work crawler..hahaha... I love the handling, looks and feel of the KO2s.

I got 90,000 miles out of my first set. Just put another set on 3000 miles ago. Very happy with these.

I have 5k on mine and only issue is a bunch of deep gouges from rocks on the side walls. One seems very deep. How do you know if it has compromised the sidewall?

My favorite tire for 4x4 BOF vehicles. I know that they are "old school" by todays tire technology, but they are just tough tires that have never let me down. Plus they last forever with correct PSI & rotations.

They are? Curious to hear the logic behind that.

What I should have written was "dated". Quite a few people on this forum tend to say that the BFG KO2's tread design is old. That may be true, But I have had much better luck with the BFG's compared to Cooper AT3's both on & off road.

Interesting logic from those people. They have been a variation of that tread pattern for like 40 years, but that doesn't mean the rubber, compound, etc. is the same or the tread pattern hasn't improved. If it were the actual same tire from 1980 I can see they may have a case, but they wouldn't even be comperable at this point with how far tire tech has come.

A lot of guys complain that they are terrible on wet roads. I personaly have never had any problems & they work in the snow pretty well also.

100%. This tire is a big seller for BFG, and modern computer-designed or computer-optimized (whatever the term) tread pattern has certainly been applied to this tire. BFG won't let something that makes them good money stagnate like that. Not to mention the ever-evolving compounds.

I had KO2s on two vehicles. The first 15k miles or so were great. After that, wet traction got stupidly bad. For my needs, the Cooper AT3 has been great.
