What would you like changed in your 5th gen?

What's missing in your 5th gen that you'd like to see Toyota improve in 2012?
As for me only 3 gripes:

1) In-glass antenna
2) Inside fuel door release
3) Rocker panel or running board to cover guts in Trail.

i want 1 and 2 on your list.

also,

3) sliders instead of plastic running boards on the trail.
4) All Terrain tires on the Trail
5) level truck from the factory
6) blisteins instead of toytics

I don't have a 5th gen but i would like to see one with more cylinders, more horsepower, more torque, and one mean sexy looking 4R.

Nothing really. It's a great truck. It (TE) is much more capable offroad than my built Tacoma. If there was one thing, it would be the redesign of the front bumper so it doesnt have to be cut up when adding an aftermarket bumper.

Fix the stupid remote start on the smart key.
A little bit quieter ride inside.
LED/HID lighting outside.

Roof mounted Cargo area light (my biggest pet peeve)
In glass antennae
Inside gas door release
Return of lids on rear wheel well storage areas
Quieter ride (5th gen seems noisier than 4th gen)
Return of "hamburger holder"
deeper/larger glove box

those are the main ones, and everything but the roof mounted cargo light i can really live without.

I like the look of the 20" Limited wheels - but the tire choices are so bad that I wish it came 17 or 18s.

Paper thin sheet metal on the hood could go

Wish it had some internal storage compartments for gear

Don't own one but the one thing I would absolutely demand if I worked at Toyota would be digital climate control for set it and leave it purposes on the SR5 trim (as an option would even be fine). Heck, I'm not even asking for dual zone, just digital would be nice. This isn't 1990.

EXACTLY... I have the TE which gives you the gauges and this and that, but they don't even give you the option for the good climate control. My flippin 2001 had this option and I can't even pay extra money for it almost 10 years later.

1) Projectors as an option if not standard
2) Power window controls relocated to a more sensible position
3) LED interior/exterior lighting maybe?
4) Illuminated overhead buttons (i.e. garage door opener... "Homelink" or whatever it's called?

I agree with the inside fuel door release and the in-glass antenna as mentioned earlier. Might have been even easier to integrate the antenna into the shark fin?

Front bench seat so you can carry 6 people in a pinch.

I'd like Toyota to severely reduce the nose dive and body roll on the SR5 trim (give me the handling of the 3rd gen) and cover the cargo area with carpet instead of black plastic. The plastic just gets marred up way to easily.
