I find it fing laughable and totally ignorant of some people here
You drive a truck made in Japan wear clothes bought at Walmart made in China drink orange juice from Brazil
even the Ford F-150 is NOT completely American
Wise up people go look for real American produced products and BUY THEM

Well, I guess that someone should be the collective consumers. If we dont buy them, then they might upgrade the technology to compete with others. Its kind of like the 4Runner. Toyota doesn't really change them because people keep buying them. If it ain't broke...

PSA:

The manufacture does not claim a 265/70/17 tire competes with 275/70/17 or 285/70/17.

The manufacture does not claim a SL rated tire will compete with a tire in a different index other than SL.

The manufacture does not claim that there is a correlation between the weight of its tires and durability.

The manufacture does not claim that there is a correlation between the weight of its tires and its load rating.'

The manufacture does not claim that there is a correlation between the weight of its tire and its tire size.

Becareful of idiots who claim otherwise.

Goodyear stinks. Get the Falkens. They are great tires.

I went with Duratracs, been top notch so far. Great tire and well regarded as an AT. Very popular for working trucks.

I am intrigued by the Wildpeaks but I tend to lean toward the more aggressive robust tire. However if they are better than the Goodyear's in the rain I may consider them next time.

We just replaced the stock Goodyears on our 2021 TRD Pro Tacoma to the Falken At3ws. Awesome tire! You won't be disappointed.

The Duratracs came stock on our 2018 4runner TRD Offroad. At 20k miles they developed a very harmonic noise which vibrated everything inside the car. Swapped them out for Nitto RidgeGrapplers. Great tire but would probably go with the At3ws that we have on our Tacoma. The At3w seem like more of an all around AT tire for a daily driver.

Finally bought the Falken Wildpeaks for my 2021 TRD ORP to go with my new TRD Pro wheels that have been sitting in my garage the last month. Just waiting for the right deal.

Tire buyer at $120 off a set of 4 and 12% Rakuten rebate. Delivered free to local shop.

Bought OEM size in E Load (they don’t make C).

Just a follow up to this. I noticed rubbing on the front driver mudflap under braking in a hard left turn. Will figure it out during daylight and see which route to take.

If anybody already has a tried and true method, give me a holler.

I priced BFG KM3s against the Falken wildpeak MT01 and the Falken were more expensive. So yeah the Falkens prices have significantly increased.

I can confirm that the Grabbers are great. I didnt get a choice on which rating to get when I purchased the vehicle, but they came with E rated 285/65/r18. Sure they are heavier, but man have I driven over some sharp rocks and it handled them like a pro. 20K miles on them and they are handling great. I cant compare the noise from them since they came with the vehicle, but to me the sound is appropriate, not too loud.
