space between Diff Drop Kit and skid plate

So I lifted my '19 runner 3 inches a couple weeks ago. (OME up front and Toytec springs and 5100s in the rear). It came with a 1 inch front diff drop kit. I installed it today but the instructions were vague and probably wrong. They said I needed to install the skid plate spacers on the rear skid? (i am assuming the transfer case skid?) well, I did that and it seems like it didn't need it. However, the front skid appeared to need the spacers instead. So i installed the spacers on the back two bolts of the front skid and the front two bolts of the transfer case skid. However, even with that, the front skid still barely butts up against the front diff mount.

my question is, do you think having the skid plate up against the differential mount will cause any long term problems or rattling?

I actually installed the Toytec diff drop on my SR5 and had the same issue. their instructions were terrible and I couldn't get a response through their email contact. Posted a message on FB group and got someone from Toytec to talk to me and they said the kit works but it obviously needs another set of bolts and spacers for the rear of the front skid like you mention. Mine touches the bottom of the diff "bars" but they are stationary so I assume it's ok since they don't move. I just went to the hardware store and got some longer bolts for the rear of the front skid. So far so good but I'm not happy with Toytec or their service.

I have the diff drop kit under RCI skids. No rattling. They are close, but fit just fine. Held up great on trail too. And, correct, you only need spacers at the front bracket of the diff. Maybe middle too, but smaller ones.
