rear hatch door handle cover part number?

Rear hatch handle cover for 5th gen (2010)? Does anyone have the part number handy for this? Apparently they are stuck on with some goop, ours fell off at some point, and its now just messing up our hands every time we lift the rear door. Thanks!

My guess i: Toyota 69308-35020Protector Sub-Assembly
2010-2021 Toyota 4Runner 6930835020

BACK DOOR LOCK & HINGE. 2010 Toyota 4Runner | Toyota

Can anyone confirm? Thanks.

Same thing is happening to my 13, rubber looks like it's falling off and sticky black tar substance barley holding on. I ended up covering it with Gorilla tape, and you can barely notice it. Works like a charm

If you are referring to the rubber part, I have linked below. It melts in heat due to people using sun block lotion or some other chemical that makes it deteriorate with the heat from the sun. You may have to clean it off with goo gone or something before putting the new one on. You may also need a 90 degree screw driver adapter to help with getting the screws off. Other wise, pretty easy fix.

Yeah you can’t get just the cover from Toyota, gotta go aftermarket. The aftermarket quality is far better than OEM in this case.
I added a bunch of pics at the end of this thread.

Removing rear hatch cover

I gotta disagree with @clin9383 a bit, it was a pain to replace, no way would I be able to get it off with a 90° screwdriver. I had to remove the whole thing anyway since a few bolts worked their way loose on the fascia.

This was a problem with the 4th gens too. Had to replace mine in 10 years of ownership. Looks like Toyota is using the same cruddy part lol

X2 on this and this exactly what I have used to replace mine couple of year ago.
Using 90 degree screw driver will make replacement very easy (just two screws).
In my case, rubber part was melted by Insect Repellent spray with DEET… that spray will destroy plastic\rubber parts that are used on cars, boat, guns, etc.

Where did you get the aftermarket part? I live in Minnesota and basically tore the whole assembly off when it was frozen shut one morning
