Yet Another Fitment Thread - TRD/275/1.25" Spacers

Guys, I promise, I've been searching off an on for a week or so, but having trouble finding what I'm looking for.

My 4R is en route to the dealer, just trying to plan my build. I already have a set of TRD wheels here. The Spidertrax 1.25" wheel spacers and Bilstein 5100s will be here tomorrow. I'm still trying to decide on what to do for the rear, but planning to set the front to either 1.75" or 2.5" and want to run a 275/70/17. I know there is a slight variance in actual tire size from manufacturer to manufacturer, so that can play a role in rubbing.

I've found one post with 5100s set to 2.5", 275/70 on stock TRD OR wheels with 1.25" wheel spacers, but none with TRD wheels, 1.25" wheel spacers, and a 275/70. I'm prepared to trim the front bumper, but I'm just really wondering if I can expect to have to do a body mount chop or not. So, if any of you are running TRD wheels, 1.25" spacers, and a 275/70, please chime in. Thanks!

I'm running 275/70/17 Falken wildpeaks at3 on trd pro wheels with 1" Bora wheel spacers. I have 6112 and I'm lifted about 2.25" up front I also have JBA uca set at 4.8 degrees of caster. I had to do some front bumper trimming, wheel liner mod and removed my mud flaps. I still slightly touch body mount when I'm off road. I previously had spidertrax 1.25 spacers and they rubbed just a little more, and was noticeable when reversing at full lock.

This will be easier for you to research if you can look at other peoples set ups based on actual wheel sizes and offsets compared to what you are looking to do.

TRD Pro Wheel is 17x7 et4 minus 1.25 spacer (~32mm), so your 'effective' wheel will be the same as a 17x7 et -28. So you can put this into a wheel offset calcuator and compare with actual numbers.

That said, I have 2.25 front lift with trd offroad wheels (17x7.5 +15) and spidertrax 1.25" for an effective 17x7.5 et -16.5. I have jba uca and over 5.1 caster and it still rubs the mud flaps ever so slightly even after zip tieing them. Not enough to even pull them and only turning one way. Of course front bumper trimmed. 285/70 17, so bigger tires.

Key take away is that after market uca like jba have +2 caster built in so you'll get the clearance in the rear of the tire with a good alignment. And it will have better road manners.

Hope this will help. But I'm running the TRD pro wheels with Spidertrax 1.25" spacers along with 275/70/17 KO2 tires. I'm also lifted about 3" all around With Kings and Dobinson rear coils. Along with Icon UCA. No body mount chop yet. But I did have to trim the plastic front bumper a bit, and also move the plastic liner. I also removed the front mud guard since there was a lot of rubbing during full lock. I now currently have minimal rubbing only on the drivers side during full lock. But nothing as bad as when I had the mud guards on. I know for sure when I move up to 33" tires I will need to get a body mount chop.
