Total Chaos +2 “ LT for KDSS
All I can tell you is this kit is the sh#t. Rides so nice perfect for daily driving as well. Stock travel is just so bad. Extended travel is just ok. This is sooo perfect and depending on the wheels and tires you don’t need glass.
With that said I’m moving up to 35s and will be customizing the whole inner fender area to gain maximum full bump travel.
3.0 triple bypass custom valving , stainless shafts finned resis for the secondary shocks. She boogies

is it up travel or down travel (or both?) that you gain by going LT for this platform?
also, how is KDSS affected by all of this? i read max lift height recommended was +2.5" for KDSS 4runners until someone could figure out a pivoting sway bar mount solution?

Yeah that was me who came up with some drop blocks for the rear at the same time some one else was already working on the idea I just kinda made it happen first with out knowing Kyle from treatyoak was actually doing it too.
You gain travel from the arms being slightly longer. You gain both up and down travel. I’m running 34s so I have to do some major work to have full compression. Which it’s going under soon. Then you want limit straps to prevent the shocks from topping out. The kit comes with adjustable setup so as the straps stretch over time you can adjust.
Kdss mounts are exactly the same distance as the stock mounts from the pivot points.

so since the kdss sway bar attaches farther in on the new LT LCA's, does that mean it has less leverage and is less noticeable even when running with the switch turned "on". i'm sure its spring rate is less now that the arms are wider but the sway is the same. just curious.

It’s mounted exactly same distance from the lower arms pivots. It’s still affective.
