Help finding a switched fuse

I just wired my LED light bar on my 2021 TRD Off Road Premium. (Under the front bumper, using the fascia mounting bolt holes...still have 12" ground clearance). I used an AOB push switch and it works fine.

The green top light comes on when the switch is on. I need a power source for the lower light...only on when ignition is on.

I tried to find a switched fuse in the block in the engine compartment that is only hot when the ignition is on. It seems like they are all hot, all the time.

AOB says to tap into the green wire on the windshield wiper defroster. Not enough room for my fat fingers to strip the wire and splice onto it unless I take the lower dash panel off and strip the harness back. There has to be an easier way...and I know somebody on this forum knows it.

Any suggestions appreciated.

I tapped off the window defroster light wire, but another option would be to pop out the panel with the mirror and dimmer and tap off of one of those. That little panel pops out very easy

I guess I'll try to strip the wire that AOB suggests and do a splice onto it. I'll use some liquid electric tape to insulate it. With these low profile fuses, there's no way to tap into the interior fuse block. (I also have to go to the parts store and replace my old supply of blade fuses for the new low profile fuses).

They do make the lower profile fuse taps too.

If you look at the Switch Pro threads there is lots of information of different places people have tapped in the cab fuse panel and under the hood fuse panel.

I think in the cab the 5th fuse down from
the top right is vacant and provides 12v with the ignition on. I’ve tapped into that one for my switch pro.
