The 4 runner is a SUV and the heavier mass car usually 'wins' in a crash. That matters a lot to me when considering a car's safety.

@AggieOE I'm confused on how you managed that. You parked your car there and it fell in?
Close... I pulled over to the side of the road (taking pictures as a tourist). I was almost to a stop and then we just started sliding at <1-mph from the gravel patch to the ditch. Supersaturated grass/mud with record rainfalls in the area (supposedly). Most anticlimatic slide and roll ever. In hindsight, swapping to 4-high and gas, neutral and roll, or maybe turning into the mountainside would have helped but oh well.
The tow driver was impressed with the lack of any fluids leaking and the first-try start up. I was impressed with the airbag curtain coverage.

Aggie, how did you do with the insurance company. Is you Truck considered a salvage due to air bad deployment?

Also, glad everyone who had an accident is OK. Never a fun experience.
I was involved in an accident in my 2017 4runner where I hit a car head on at 70mph on the freeway. I came out with minor shoulder pain. I now own a 2020 due to the performance of my last 4runner.

Frustratingly enough, It was not salvaged. Insurance said it was just under the amount needed to be considered. As such, as the months have gone on, I keep finding annoyances due to the repair being done incorrectly. PS I had it done at Toyota's repair place. Overspray, Offbrand headlight replacement which is now peeling, poor body panel fitment, paint match-up interior peeling (the spots inside the doors), and! They superglued the front bumper to the inner clip-in plastic piece instead of replacing the inner piece. I just learned this when I removed the bumpers two months ago to add the proper TRD trim pieces. We'll probably end up trading this thing in for another just due to these annoyances.
