Audio Install Question: Maestro with Aftermarket Amp

Landed a sweet deal on a Kenwood DMX957XR with a Maestro, just waiting on the Toyota harnesses and dash kit to arrive.

Already have an amp installed to the factory head with line level inputs through a t-harness. Going to swap that over to the pre-amp outputs on the Kenwood. The question I have is how do I integrate the Maestro? All searches show how to integrate the factory amp, showing a pre-amplified signal going through the Maestro.

A: RCAs to amp, with speaker out connecting to Maestro in (amplified) or
B: Completely bypass all speaker wires to Maestro and keep the t-harness for the amp out?
