PSA: Ebay Synthetic Leather Console Armrest Cover

It appears there are several sellers selling the same product for various prices, all with the same pictures. I got one for $30 and it is great, way nicer than the OEM vinyl and can't be any less durable. My OEM cover had holes in it the first year. Color match and fit are absolutely perfect.

Takes 10 minutes to take apart the console lid. To install it, you will need very short leg staples, about 1/8" to not pierce the plastic all the way through. I took it to an auto upholstery place that did it for $35, which was cheaper than I could source the staples and a gun for. Need to pull the staples and remove the old cover, leave the foam padding, and install the new cover.

No long term review, only about a week old, but will update this thread if anything goes wrong with it.

Nice! When I did mine I didn’t bother pulling the old cover off or using staples. A little spray adhesive and some of those black paper binder clips to hold everything tight while the glue set up did the trick.

Totally agree the material is better and thicker/ more durable than OEM and it looks totally stock

Nice job finding a place to do it so cheap for you! That never crossed my mind

Yes, you were the one that posted this a few weeks ago, thanks! I was trying to find that post, couldn't find it, but found several posts of people searching for replacement console covers, so figured I would start a seperate thread with relevant keywords in the title.

I removed my old cover as there were really large holes in it that would be felt through the new cover.
