Are there any instructions online on how to remove the black plastic trim cover so I can get to the rattle myself? I remove the two screws that are hidden behind the steering wheel but was still not able to open the cover.

The factory repair manual (
TOYOTA 2016-2019 4Runner Repair Manual RM27F0U) will show how to disassemble the steering column.
But, since there is an air bag in the steering wheel that could explode unexpectedly, you need to be careful in taking it apart.
