silly Q, buying 4pc and only plugging in 3 raptor lights
was looking at this kit but was not sure if there is a controller that regulates power to each light or if each is a 12v in so I can just tape off the fourth plug and run three or choose to run four etc.
4Runner Raptor Lights — Overland Depot
TIA!

doesn't look like anything other than normal 12V wiring from an add a fuse, you can do whatever you want with it

If you're getting "raptor lights", get it straight from CarTrimHome for cheaper.
Free Shipping LED Light For 2014-2021 Toyota 4Runner
Literally the same thing, cheaper.
You can run 0, 1, 2, 3, or 4. Doesn't matter.

Heavy plus, to each their own but I don't get the trend of trying to dress up vehicles that don't require DOT lights. Is it a race to make your truck look like a UFO? People are even putting them on Rav4s and Broncos now.

Agreed, to each their own, and does anyone aside from commercial drivers and some car nuts really even know what the marker lights are for? At this point with all the 4Runners, Tacomas, Tundras, etc. running them, they're the boy that cried wolf.

Very true....commercial operators knew that the least amount of marker lights the better. At least in the old days, you could have as many extra yellow lights as you wanted, but they better work. If you had one burned out (even if it was a added on light for bling) it was an infraction on a dot inspection.
