2020 TPMS issues
Backstory: installed methods and 285s back in Feb, around June I would start getting malfunction alerts and all displayed tire pressures would disappear on long highway drives. Issue would resolve itself while driving or be fine when car was restart.
Took it to Toyota a week ago who said the rear passenger sensor was broken and glued together (Les Schwab baby) so I then took it to Les who swapped it at no cost. Issue was fine until yesterday when the issue occurred again, so I got back home today and took it back to Les. Drivers and rear pass (replaced) all read fine when they digitally scanned, however the driver rear read 30 PSI. We checked for nails and all was good so I asked them to use an old school manual gauge and the pressure was normal, I also just verified this at home with my digital gauge.
Any ideas on what’s now causing this one to read wrong? I am guessing that was the issue sensor all along.
