Yeah, it's not "Mobil 1" but may be made by Mobil? Apparently Toyotas synthetic is about 35% lighter than Mobil 1's 0W20 at 0C (32F) and 25% lighter at room temperatures.

Yeah, forums are so repetitive and searches rarely get you what you need. In the end people just need the interaction. lol

A few years ago, I read on "Bob is the oil guy.com" that Toyota synthetic OEM oil is made by Mobil, with Toyotas additive package. I don't know what their additive package consists of, but for $7 a quart, I always use the OEM synthetic every 10K miles. (with the OEM filter kit)
