Anyone else not able to sign in to Toyota app using iOS? - Toyota 4Runner Forum

I cannot sign in to the Toyota app with either my IPhone 10 max or my iPad. It’s been like this for a while. Toyota says it’s a known problem and they are working on it. Is anyone else having this problem?

Sometimes when I go to load it, it will appear to have signed me out. I close and reopen (never have to re-enter my credentials) and it’s back to my vehicle status page.

Are we thinking of the same issue?

I don't think so, I never am able to get to the point of entering credentials.

I click on "Sign In" and it doesn't do anything. I click on "Register" and it doesn't do anything.

It will go to Demo mode.

Yep exact same issue on iPhone and OSX/windows. If I go to register new on my laptop, I get there is already an account with this username/email notification.

Thankfully the old iPhone app still works.

Gotta love database migration issues, you think that’d be a thing of the past.

Toyota App or Entune App? I thought they were the same.

I have no problem with my Entune App on my iPhone 11. Works as it should (not all that good; it used to be much better).

But the Toyota Web site "users" link hasn't worked for some time.

I am using and have been using the “Toyota Owners” app. When you start that app it now prompts you to login to the “Toyota” app. That is where this issue is coming from for some of us. You can’t login in to the new Toyota app with your old credentials.

The Entune app works fine, and well apart from entune being outdated the day they sold it to me

It has been months and I'm still not able to sign into the Toyota App. It is getting old. I got an email that said;

Dear GLENN GOODLETT:
This is an update related to a support request for your Toyota account. Your case is still open and being actively worked on by our technical teams. A Toyota advocate will reach out once your request is resolved or if there is any information we need from you. Thank you for your patience as we continue to work on this matter.

I had a lot of trouble with the app. I can’t remember what I finally did to get logged in. It’s possible I broke down and did it all online.

That said, the app is useless and a waste of work done, and bandwidth to use. My opinion anyway.

My experience has been extremely hit or miss. Sometimes I can log on fine, most of the time not so much. I've also reported it, and gotten the "known issue, working on it" reply. Fortunately the app doesn't provide any must-have features, so it's not a big deal for me.

Without doing anything and nothing from Toyota, I am able to log into the Toyota app once again.

It's a known problem since I purchase my vehicle in 2016.

Every once in a while, I'll give it a try if im sitting in the drive through somewhere and my phone prompts me..but it never actually works for me.
