Can someone please help me with wiring my light bar and pods?

So I have no idea why the lights won't turn on. I did power to power and black to ground. For whatever reason, the lights just aren't flicking on. What am I doing wrong?

Any Help would be great..

Not much to go on. You wired the lights to a relay first? Brand lights? Its not as simple as black to black and power to power.

Extreme LED lights all around.

The controller is called AuxBeam. I basically cut off the switch that came on the wiring harness. Since the AuxBeam has 8 ports to connect things. I assumed its basically a switch.

Auxbeam 8 Switch Dimmable Universal LED Switch Panel Kit (Blue Backlight) - 4x4TruckLEDs.com

I didn't buy it from that link but just posting it so you can see what I'm using.

Did you test the lights first before mounting. Touch the bare wires to battery terminal. I always test things like this prior to installation. There could be a defect.

Second...did you check if there was power at the switch terminal where you have the lights wired to? Assuming you have a multimeter.

I have the same auxbeam switch and it works great.

i think you got lucky. the alternative is you burn the truck to the ground. let a shop take care of this, or watch a few youtube videos.

If you have a multimeter or light probe you just need to start checking for power. Check all fuses and go from there. If you have a wiring diagram post that maybe some of us can guide you though this.

I wish I did. I emailed Extreme LED for help. AuxBeam didn't have much info. With that said, I did switch out the red wire with the white wire on port 3 and did get one of the bars to work.

I did, all the lights worked before I put them on.

Question, when you ran your wires to your auxbeam, did you leave the relay that the harness came with? I was reading that the box has a relay in it.

Deleted previous reply to your post.

The Auxbeam control box is a solid-state relay. Like you said, it has relays built into it - you don't need to add relays on top of relays.

If you are using a wiring harness with a built-in relay and switch, the wired relay won't engage and allow current flow unless the switch is flipped. If you cut off the switch, the only way that relay will engage is if you apply 12V across the leads.

My suggestion would be to cut the relay off of your wiring harnesses and run wires directly from the lights to the Auxbeam terminals. There should only be two wires running to and from your lights to the + and - terminals on the Auxbeam control box.

IIRC, blue and white wires are generally used for switches... are you trying to connect your switch leads, that you had cut, to the Auxbeam? It almost looks like you are possibly running the leads from the lights to your battery and wiring the cut-off switch wires to the Auxbeam.

More photos might help.

Is it possible to rewire the auxbeam switch panel to separate rocker switches? I have the 8 gang auxbeam one but i dont want to use the bulky panel. There is a 4 pin connector with red/black/green/blue wires
