Need help finding a noise..
I've been dealing with a clank in my 19 Pro ever since I installed the Eibach pro lifting springs. It usually happens when I'm full lock reversing or if I brake hard. Every bolt is tight and everything looks the way it should. I ended up getting an old GoPro and stuck it under to see if there was anything visible. I can't see anything wrong but there is definitely some noise. I'm trying to get this resolved before I install the supercharger. Any ideas?

Nice video! Yeah, just like mine noise and clank after I installed the Kings. In my case it was LCA bushings, both sides on rear. I suggest to check those first, won’t cost you anything, any mechanic should know how troubleshoot those , takes about two minutes. Try that first. Good luck!

That would be annoying as hell..From the look of the video it sounds like it happens when the UCA cycles up..

Can you get the clunking from rocking the vehicle? Maybe have a second person and try to pinpoint the location while rocking it. Did you install your lift or have a shop do it? The long bolt thru the UCA needs to be torqued when off the jack and has the weight of the vehicle on the suspension. It’s hard to tell if the sound is from the UCA but that’s where I would start.

Thanks for the ideas!
I did install the lift myself with my dad's help. I did try the rocking method before and did loosen the UCA bolt to try to fix it that way. I think it did help so maybe I need to try again?
I will have someone take a look at the LCA bushings I did not try that.
I'm also very sure it's not a rubbing problem. I'm well away from the Body mount and UCA.
I showed one of the techs at work and he thinks the skid plate could be too tight. I'm going to try to take that off and see if the issue continues as well.
To be continued...

Did you get these suspension noises figured out?
I’m chasing after some clunking/ clicking/ creaking noises after my eibach pro lift install too. (nothing to do with the lift kit really, just an aging truck I guess) LCA cam bolts are torqued to spec, sway bar links and bushings were changed out too. Noise seems to be popping up under hard braking or acceleration when load shifts front to back or vise versa.

So I tried a few things. I did loosen the UCA bolt again and did a more aggressive test but that didn't help and it wasn't the skid plate. I haven't had a chance to see the LCA bolts so that'll be my next day off.

I have found the issue! It was the LCA bolts. They weren't torqued tight enough. Set it to 130 ft-lbs and so far so good!

Nice! Glad you got your noises figured out. I’m gonna try one more time before I bring mine to a shop. Just to confirm and pardon my ignorance (first time to tackle this myself) did you have to torque all 4 nuts and all 4 bolts?

Chasing the same noise. Found the rubber shock bushings are failing, but not convinced the upper strut mounts(top hats) dont need replacing. Should have some new bushings in a few days, if that doesn't work... pulling the struts for a good inspection.

This is the worst one out of the 4 shocks. Pulled it and replaced it with one from the "help section". The one i removed felt almost like hard plastic. Loosened the other side thinking they are over torqued and now have the noise on that side also. Stock and poly bushings are in the mail.

I torqued them all, yes. I had my torque wrench set to 130lbs I don't think it needed to be that much but it's better to be safe than sorry
