Potential TRD leather seat swap?

Long story short, a buddy of mine might be trading in his TRD Premium for something else and I brought up the topic of him letting me swap his leather seats for my cloth ones + some cash. He said he would probably just let m do it if he decided to but as of now it is just an idea.

Has anyone done this before? Will it be just a plug and play kind of thing? I know that on the premiums you can adjust the height on the passenger seat while on mine you can't because I don't have any controls on my passenger seat.

It may just be less of a headache to get some Katskinz covers on my truck and call it a day.

If you just swap the entire seats, it'll be a very quick swap. You can take the rear seats out in about 15 minutes.

If he's wanting to keep his seat sub-structure and only swap covers, that might take a bit.

Softex seats. They're vinyl.

Hopefully it doesn't become an issue when he trades in.

Electrically you might have to swap over some harnesses for passenger seat control and both seat heaters / switches. I’m not sure where Toyota stopped the cables, but you’d have to fill in any gaps. Otherwise it should be straightforward bolt off bolt on.
