Does anyone have pics from the side? I'm kind of interested but it looks like it sticks out and blocks A/C vents and controls some. In AZ blocking the A/C vent, even a little bit, is a no-go. The A/C is borderline adequate in the summer already.

I can get a better picture later today. I’ll slap on the 10.5 screen also.

*The 11.6 screen just goes up to the bottom of the vent’s bottom horizontal trim.

The 10.5 will sit right under the vents.

I like the concept, but this one appears just a tad too large for the given real estate.
Maybe the 10 or 10.5

To each his own, but I'm not a fan of the iPad on the dash look. Give me a 1965 dash with knobs, levers and switches. God help me if I have to buy an electric vehicle.

I agree, the 10.5 fits the area better than the 11.6. Sorta an overkill but when I’m watching a movie, it makes up for the size.

Well to be fair the A/C is okay for the front seats but my kids complain all the time. I end up with it running full blast with the vents pointed more towards the back than at me.

Just a small tip I've found to work well - try closing off the front vents around 50% with the dial on the sides. Then it'll blow a lot more of the air through the rear seat vents and you can cool the middle row a lot better without freezing out the front seats. The fan can push pretty good pressure, so when you close the vents it'll push air pretty well through the relatively small rear seat ducts.

The HVAC blower motor assembly is the same one in my RX350 that seems to move air a lot better. (They both are the same part numbers for the fan assembly, use the same cabin air filters, and generally are shared components.) Not sure why. Must be the ducting in the 4R? Years a go I went so far as testing the blower motor amps and voltage on both at full speed. They were the same.

The rear seat HVAC is a disappointment in my 5th gen coming from a 3rd gen LTD that had rear seat HVAC controls and a separate blower for the rear seats. However - the rear seats in the 5th gen are larger and I'm not sure I've ever ridden in the back of either one further than a few miles to see what it was like.

I got everything for around $800 and wired it myself rather than paying for the prebuilt option which is far more expensive. I'm overall happy with my Halo, I think the biggest knock on it is that it's a couple years old and the screen resolution leaves a lot to be desired, but to me it's great and does what I want it to

I've tried that and they say it doesn't help them... but hey I'm not riding back there.
During the week I often shut off the passenger side and can feel the difference on me, but I don't notice much difference opening or closing the rear vents.

ive found turning the radio up drowns out unwanted noise.

Entune doesn’t actually suck, I think you’re letting other people convince you that anything OEM just blows.

Hard disagree. Anything prior to Entune 3.0 is a joke.

Id prefer the 2020 plus OEM headunit but hard to find at a reasonable price, then add another $200 for a retrofit harness. I'd be okay with $700 or less OTD for OEM. I did purchase a iLX-F411 at $800 plus tax, will need to buy harness and all still. Ill give that a try
