That is correct.

It happened to me without doing either or touching the brake pedal.
That is a feature that was not on my 2014, IIRC.

Few days a week I pick up my younger son in car line. I can choose to show up closer to actual dismissal time, then suffer through the stop and go slow roll through the parking lot, or I can get here a bit on the early side with my laptop and actually get work done. If it’s 80+ and sunny, or raining, you better believe I’m idling with the A/C on.

First time this happened to me in my ‘22 I wasn’t sure what to think. Later looked it up in manual and realized I can avoid it by shifting out of P and back after a while.
