Front Dobinsons and JBA UCA's w/ KDSS installed

I installed Dobinsons IMS59-50700 with C59-302 springs and JBA High caster UCA's in the front today. Went pretty easy, did not touch the KDSS on drivers side, loosened on the passenger side, backed bottom bolts out about half way. Used pry bar to push down on LCA on both sides. The long bolt for the UCA is a challenge on both sides especially going it alone but took time and went well. I had already installed new springs and shocks on rear. Alingment tech got caster to 3.5, steering and control is great, ride is a little stiff, feel every bump and crack but people say it will soften up over time. Anyway the KDSS was no issue. I don't have a lean but I did buy the Treaty Oak Offroad spacers in case. Will install either way another weekend.

Someone correct me if I’m wrong but the front KDSS spacer from Treaty only corrects the lean, so if you got the kit I’d only install the rears to clear the trac bar.

I don’t have a lean either and I’m going to install the rears as well as Doms KDSS switch. I also have eimkeiths PCK.

I would install the front Treaty Oak spacer whether you have a lean or not. If you jack up the front end at the middle of the crossmember, you'll probably notice the passenger side wheel will come off the ground before the driver side wheel. This happened on mine, and the front spacer seemed to minimize the difference.

Looks like the red Dobinsons coils match the UCA pretty well. I’m thinking of doing this exact same setup. Did you use the rear KDSS coil spacer to help with the lean?

No spacer, I bought my kit from Mike at Exitoffroad, he told me that the Treaty Oak spacers will eliminate any lean if you have one. I have them just have not installed yet.

I did notice one thing after installing the JBA UCA's is the front wheels before looked like they were pushed forward and not in the center of the wheel well and now they are in the center. It may be from just rasing the suspension too but still look more centered.

Are those 275 or 285 size tires? I’m so damn indecisive I can’t make up my mind on what I want lol

You’re right. I remember watching exit off-roads installation video stating that. I stand corrected lol guess I’m installing them as well!

I went with the 275/70/17 they are the Falken Wildpeak AT3 so the are a little bigger. I think 285's are just too much for a daily driver (my opinion). I think the 275's look decent and they are a C load too but man they are heavy when you need to change a tire.
