S&B Cold Air Intake Filter Box with M.O.R.E./ARB twin compressor mount

Has anyone here successfully installed the M.O.R.E./ARB passenger side twin compressor mount next to a S&B Cold Air Intake Filter Box on a 5th Gen? I am interested in doing this, but I am a little skeptical that it will fit. I would like to know before I purchase the mount.

Man I was looking at this literally yesterday. With what I have been able to gather so far this will not work with a twin and the S&B. There isn’t enough depth left in the open cavity and the larger air box. The single looks clear however.

I’m going to try to measure with my phone later today and see if I can get exact dimensions of the remaining space around the air box.

If it won’t fit I’ll use the driver’s side mount instead, but I’m with ya there is a lot of useable space north of that air box that needs filling.

Jofointhismofo, its good to know I have company with this question. I’m been studying pictures from the M.O.R.E. Website as well as many of the online tutorials for installing the whole assembly, but I haven’t come to anything conclusive. Have you already bought the M.O.R.E. Bracket?

I’m in favor of the passenger side because I plan on adding the gallon bottle in the near future. I may end up removing and replacing the S&B box to go back to stock so I can install a snorkel. But, right now, I’m enjoying the horse power boost.

Agreed the best location for the bottle is passenger side. I measured a bunch today and am coming to the same conclusion: the back of the airbox is too big to allow the ARB to fully seat.

I’m going to send mountain off-road an email and ask if they know. Nothing else maybe I can get the overall depth measurement with pump installed.

I still haven’t purchased the bracket with the fear this won’t work. To make things worse the ARB unit looks to be back ordered.

I recent bought my compressor. I will send you a private message with where I bought it. I called the company before hand to make sure they had some in stock before I ordered. The guy told me they had a few on a self in KC. I had mine in a couple of days.

I managed to fit the compressor into the space behind the filter box, but that was without the pancake filters on the compressor in stall and it was squeezed into the wire harness enough to make me nervous about tearing it. I think I have come to the conclusion that it isn't going to work. I don't really like the way that Rago's driver's side mounting plate goes over the fuse box. So, that's a hard no. So, I guess I'll mount it in a small tool box with some wire clamps to attach it to my battery when I need to use it until I am ready to give up the S&B filter for a snorkel.

Here's a link with a picture of how tight it is: Too tight! - Imgur

I’m gonna take the plunge and get the mount. Who knows when the pumps will be back in stock.
