Reverse Input Wire on SR5?

Would anybody be so kind as to tell me where I need to hook up my reverse trigger wire on a 2010 SR5? I have wired all of my new head unit and powered the camera, but I still need to wire the reverse input trigger wire from the head unit so that the stereo automatically switches input when the truck is in reverse. I have searched and searched and come up with nothing.

There is a 5 pin gray connector on the head unit. Reverse signal (+12) is on the Red wire in Pin 1.

Thanks so much for the reply! So are you saying this is in the wiring harness that is grouped with the steering wheel controls?

Is there a wire I can tap into behind the aftermarket stereo unit to have the camera turn on when I put the truck in reverse? Also, I have a parking bypass wire installed, so I can play movies without being in park; is this going to effect anything when trying to get the camera on when in reverse? TYIA.

Trying to get my reverse signal tapped into. 2016 Trail Premium. The picture above doesn't match what I have in my car. I'm about to tear into the FSM I have, but it's the 2010 one and I'm not sure if it's going to match. I've found a few threads, but I'm not able to find the right wire. I've checked the whole driver side kick panel and can't find any red/yellow wires.

If anyone can save me some time, it would be awesome...

Although, I just realized I'm using the Metra adaptor. Perhaps I have the wrong one...

I am looking now and they sell a kit without the 6v adaptor. Perhaps the Camera in the 4runner is 12v?

Well, troubleshot then camera and harness. Works fine, I think metras instructions would make it sound you could not activate the rear camera from the heady it whenever you wanted. Now I just need the reverse signal input to trigger. May just hit the taillight and call it good.

Figured it out. Based on other threads I found the wire. It’s not in a 5 pin harness. Coming off the steering whee controls there were two free wires. One was off a pin from a red factory wire. Boom. Reverse signal.
