If you sell it out right can you get buy without it until your new one comes in? Not sure if your state has sales tax, but here in CT when you trade a car in you don't pay sales tax on the trade in value which is a big help at 6.35%

Exactly! What dealers are doing is making you put a deposit down in an allocation that is months out.....at MSRP. Then, when it finally comes in, they slash their trade in value due to the "extra miles" you put on while you were waiting for your truck, and "changes in the market."
I just bought a 5yr/100k Toyota platinum warranty and will keep my 4Runner for a few more years until this market comes back to reality.
