Just like most of Alpharex products they look and probably are straight from Alibaba.com. Not that the OEM refresh taillights look much better.

Do you have any links from Alibaba.com? Never seen any products there that even comes close to looking like AlphaRex.

not a fan either, but i might change my mind if i see them on a sick build.
I'm okay with morimoto's as long as it fits a design theme. They do look okay on fully built rigs.. Otherwise, they give off a jeep liberty vibe.
You have to be careful with upgrading headlights and taillights housing. They typically don't age very well.
For me, just give me a black housing and LED's.....

Alpharex does not make any of its own products. They're just re-branded Chinese junk.

Not a fan. Prefer the morimotos or even the anzo style over these

I'm sorry did I touch a nerve?
The good news is when all of those fantastic products break you won't have a hard time sourcing replacements. Here is a link to an Alibaba listing for your convenience: High Quality Car Accessories Led Head Lamp Headlight For 4runner 2014 2015 2016 2017 2018 2019 2020 - Buy Led Head Lamp For 4runner,4runner Headlight,Accessories For 4runner Product on Alibaba.com

The reason you won't see Alpharex products there is that Alpharex simply buys from a Chinese contract manufacturer and has their name added to them. Without their name on them, they cost even less. The practice is generally called rebranding.

If that’s what they need to do to keep prices low, so be it. The alternative is paying $1500 for a pair of headlights or taillights. And even that price point won’t provide any assurance of quality, I’ve seen posts on here complaining of Morimoto quality with repeat returns (same customer, 3+ warranty replacements for DRL issues).

You could always buy OEM and get better quality all the way around. There's a reason cheap Chinese products are so cheap. You get what you pay for and don't let a warranty fool you.

Please don't confuse my disdain for cheap Chinese products with Asian hate. Unlike most folks, I've been to China (several times) on business and I've seen first hand their complete disregard for patents, copyright and intellectual property laws. Said another way, they'll steal and copy anything. But if you want something made for next to nothing, it's the place to go. Unfortunately, more and more dangerously cheap, knocked off or downright fake products come out of the country every day. Just my personal opinion.
BTW, Thank you for graciously admitting you were incorrect. Classy move rarely seen on the internet.

Thanks for the clarification also, while i agree that there is a lot of chinese junk, many of these car products being sourced by companies like Alpharex, Morimoto, Eagle Eyes etc are all vetted companies.
Admittingly, i bought a bunch of solar lights from china, one of them had 10x 18650 batteries in it that pretty much exploded when i turned it on.
There is no issue with stuff from companies like Alpharex, while it is chinese made, they don't appear to be infringing on any trademarks, and i do get email replies from them quickly. I have the Novas on my 4runner since they were released and i had a set for my Raptor. Both without issues.
