Recommend a good mechanic in DFW? Lewisville/Carrollton/Irving area.

I live in an apartment at the moment in Lewisville and can't do as much work as I'd like on my 4Runner. (2011 4Runner Limited 4wd) I'd like to have a trusted local mechanic because Christian Brothers Automotive has been sketchy and overpriced despite good appearance, Toyota of Lewisville has terrible service and overpriced, local Valvoline shop that does my oil changes started hiring clowns that have no idea what they're doing. Basically, I can't really trust anyone at the moment, and looking for other fellow 4R owners for some recommendations on a very good, trustworthy Toyota mechanic that can do my oil/fluid changes and eventually suspension replacement.

Please, does anyone have any good mechanics in the DFW area? Preferably close to Lewisville/Carrollton/Farmers Branch/Coppell/Irving?

I know only of 2 that are decent, (LALOTAI AUTOWORKS in Grand Prairie, and Tandem Automotive), but they're a little further than I'd like.

Looking to do the following...
-Oil changes
-Trans fluid changes/ diff fluid changes/ coolant changes
-Suspension replacement

Hey there, looking for a good shop as well in the DFW area to install a lift soon. Based on recommendations in a few other threads, I would check out Tread Depot in Mansfield, Goode’s in Rowlett, and Tandem in Haltom City,

Don't live in the area but not sure I'd trust anyone other than the dealer for the tranny.

Depends on what you are looking for...
Vandergriff Toyota in Arlington TX is the best dealer I have found (not saying much , I know...)

For "Off Road" mods including suspension, BMC's, gear change, driveshaft work, engine and exhaust work/customization...the best in town is Dallas Off Road. They are on Emerald Dr. in N.W. Dallas. They advertise themselves as a Jeep place, but they work on all makes. There is usually a waiting list for work.

Bring money, cry once, and have fun with your truck!
