I would agree a lot of people do that, but we did not. Husband works for Toyota of North America, we paid an employee pricing on this vehicle! Also let me help you understand. The stock suspension will not allow for 34" tires, or can be adjusted depending on what you're doing. So i can spend $5.5k on Icon Stage 7 + Wheels and turn around and sell my TRD Pro suspension tires/wheels/suspension for over $3k. You are telling me for $2k you wouldnt want a full Icon Stage 7 Kit, Icon Wheels, and 34" tires?
Also calling me a bro, I appreciate your sexism but I am not a bro

I Agree, it sounds more salty and immature to make those types of comments. But to answer your question, yes it was the husky haha but also these are tubs like weathertech without the price. They go up the transmission tunnel, up behind the pedals, on the dead pedal, and over the rocker. It helps just keep everything inside these "tubs" and makes it easier to clean. I put them on all my vehicles!

I think he’s trying for another ban. Just can’t get over what Pro owners pay or do with their 4Runners.
It’s like worrying about how others spend their money. It’s not going to get you anywhere and make yourself look immature and resentful.

Right - but its okay. Thats what he/she needs to do then its their choice, just gets to be ignored or proven wrong haha

I love it. What were you quoted for the lead time on the Icon Stage 7?

I was waiting for this post, glad you helped him (YS) understand your scenario.
Makes sense to me.
Oh, most everyone caught that you were not a “bro” from your post.
Looking forward to your build.

we were quoted 12-16 weeks, we are at 25 weeks and told another 4-5 weeks...
But I have seen Kings taking up to 8-9 months to get, so I would assume that's our timeframe at this point.

There is always a reason for what people do, just have to ask!
And yes haha my husband has a 2008 V8 he works on and built, I've always loved that thing, and wanted to build an overlanding TRD Pro of my own. He helps lead me down the right path on some decisions but this is my build

Epic response! I took off the TRD Pro suspension and put in on my 2018 SR5 daily driven 4runner. No need to spread aggressive vibes... We are all adults, we can spend money however we want! I bought the pro for the color...

Wow looks fantastic and quite husky friendly! Good call on the harnessing system in the back. A buddy of mine's dog jumped out the back window once going about 30mph or so but luckily managed only some scrapes and a concussion! Dogs are wild sometimes!

That's why we have the system, he has jumped out before. Also heard a horror story of someone's dog squeezing out on a family trip at 70mph. My heart melted. They need to be as safe as us!

I tried to do some research on this, but I figured you might know. What is the difference in the Stage 7 & Stage 8 Icon setups for our 4Rs? Parts list looks identical unless I am missing something.

I asked my husband haha the rear struts are their Omega struts. So it has 33 levels (check the # I'm not 100%) of adjustment due to the bypasses vs the 11 levels of adjustment (both are the adjustable shocks).
I would assume it just adds a level of control I nor most people would ever use haha
