So i can spend $5.5k on Icon Stage 7 + Wheels and turn around and sell my TRD Pro suspension tires/wheels/suspension for over $3k. You are telling me for $2k you wouldnt want a full Icon Stage 7 Kit, Icon Wheels, and 34" tires?
Also calling me a bro, I appreciate your sexism but I am not a bro

I think the thought process is that the base MSRP of roughy 8k between the TRD ORP to the TRD Pro, isn’t worth the 3k you clear in harvested parts. Even with employee pricing, one would assume TRD Pro’s still command a premium over the ORP (a premium that does extend to resale values, which is point back in your favor). I only comment on this, because most of my career has been in finance, and evaluating opportunity costs of different options.
However, there was no need for him to be offended by how you choose to build your 4runner. We all value things differently. I’d love a lime rush pro, but my white ORP will have to do. Only thing that matters is that you are happy.
Looks good so far!
