I currently have a 2021 that were installed on it before I took possession and they are fine.
Needless to say they have been good for me.
It’s all about the quality of balancing for any LT or MT tire in my honest opinion.

And you would be wrong…there’s enough empirical data to support this as well.

No issues here, been on for like 6 months, including a trip to Colorado and back hitting trails while out there.

To my recollection you’ve never been in any of my vehicles, so you really have no knowledge of my experiences with any KO2’s, empirical data or not.
But, thanks for your comment.

You are correct, I’m just forming my opinion based on the hundreds of replies on a multitude of threads across several forums that have all described the K02 as troublesome when dealing with balancing, wheel vibes etc. you can’t possibly think that all these people are imagining things solely based on your own experiences?

Your opinion doesn't mean shiet, considering you formulated your conclusion based on non verifiable information you read on the internet somewhere, and you conclude it as factual.

News flash Chad, I’ve run K02s before and they didn’t balance. But maybe if I actually had a Good Enough Diploma, that would qualify me to chime in on your little make believe world.

Nah, the quality of your posts is about garbage level, so that would qualify all your posts as maybe garbage level. Possibly even lower than garbage.
Sorry dood, if i had a make believe world, you probably wouldn't exist in it.
Thank you for your garbage private message. Sorry i'm going to have to turn down whatever fantasy you want me to participate in. I don't want to see pictures of your mother, and i don't want to have anything to do with your mother. Don't be offended though, its a genetic thing. Seeing how you have turned out, I don't want to add more garbage into this world. I don't want to mix my DNA with your garbage DNA.
also, don't harass me in PM, reported it...cheers.

Besides the balancing issues, why do you favor the cooper tires or ko2’s?

Imagining things, not hardly on my end.
Strange how you derive that conclusion.

I have 255/75/17 KO's on Motegi 150 wheels, and two balanced perfectly with zero weight, one has a single .25 oz weight and the other has .50 oz weight. I have a set of DuraTrac's and Geolander's that required a whole bunch more weight and still gave me the shakes, but those were mounted at DT. I went to an independent tire store (Express Tire in Saline MI) that specializes in huge commercial tires, so I suspect it's not the tires, it's the installers abilities. Taking the time to carefully match up the high and low weight spots on the tire and wheel is key, something volume shops like DT don't do in my experience.

i purchased a set of ko2 C rated from costco this past week. They're being shipped to the store . I have some life left in my current tires but dont want to push them into winter.
I've read about the balancing issues and its hit miss on them. E vs C load , 275 vs 265 is all personal preference. Some will have issues others none. I believe there is a 30 day return return on the BGF still.

Have not had a problem. Run them on my 2020 TRD ORP and on my 2017 Land Rover Discovery. They have been great on both vehicles. No problems balancing, good traction, low noise on the road. I do rotate and balance every 5k miles, however.

I am going through this now. My KO2's were rebalanced 4 times on stock rims and again on new Method wheels. Still the same issue. DT is working with me on this so I am looking at other tires now.
They are LT 275 70 17.

Asking to confirm - was this the old K/O with a gap between the rim and the now-discontinued rim protector?
Or referring to the new K/O 2 with no rim protector and the tire literally sits 1/4” back from the bead like the tire won’t seat or the wheel is too wide?
Got pics? Sounds interesting.

You balance your wheels every 5,000 miles? That sounds like fun, said no one ever.
