Lasfit pro-series 4runner headlights

Hey everyone!

2014-2020 4Runner Custom-Made H11 LED Bulbs w/Dual-Cooling System|LASFIT

Lasfit here! I want to talk a little about our 4runner headlights that we made! This bulb is unique and special because we built it for the 5th gen 4runner specifically. We know the 4runner headlight units are unique and requires a special bulb since the socket is not in the center of the housing. With a conventional bulb, most bulbs would hit the dust cover which can overheat the fan, so we decided that the best course of action is to create a 4runner specific bulb.

This bulb is under our pro-series line, what makes the pro-series unique is that it is completely made for that specific vehicle only and it will be dual cooling. We built a bulb that is attached to the dust cover and the dust cover is a cooling fan as well! The bulb is super bright and it is easy to install.

I want to set up a bulk buy where if 10 of you guys! Would you guys be interested in this bulb?

does the cooling fan draw dust into the headlight assembly?

The concept is interesting, but not sure how much offroad dust a dust cover will prevent if it has a hole in it?

I live and wheel in the desert. Dust is definitely a thing.

I've had these for over 6 months now and absolutely love them. They are very bright with long throw and a great cutoff. They are a huge improvement over stock. Also, no dust issues from what I can see, but my time has mostly been on road.

yes it does! when the bulbs are running, the dustcover opens up to draw dust out and cools the bulb and when you turn off the bulb, the dustcover shuts off the valves to make sure no other debris gets inside ensuring that it will stay safe

I live and wheel in the desert. Dust is definitely a thing.

The holes are only open when the bulb is running so it can push water and dust out! Once you turn off the bulb, the dustcover actually closes the valves to ensure no other debris gets trapped inside! We offer 2 year warranty and 45 day no hassle return in case you are not happy with it!

Lasfit makes good quality stuff. Well engineered and bright as heck.

I would be all up on this if I was still running OEM housing.

LASFIT, I have enjoyed your products thus far and can’t wait to try the new LEDs. Would I see a brightness difference between OEM bi-LED and the LASFIT bulbs?

I’ve been impressed with the turns and marker lights I’ve installed - you’re the only brand that can maintain color consistency between a super bright turn signal and a 194 bulb side marker.

Please keep up the good work and know that your brand consistently floats to the top when picking out upgrades for my vehicles, from 1995 to 2021.

Lasfit pro-series 4runner headlights

I want to also put it out there for anyone hesitant because the bulbs say 6000k…

6000k is going to match any OEM LED headlight made in the last few model years. Period.

5000k, in previous years and across several manufacturers, is a very specific color and seen in relatively few cars IMHO. Not many OEM bulbs were ever truly 5000k.

The ones that were, that I can think of, would be the very early HIDs such as the mid-2000s Toyota Prius/Avalon/Sienna and roundabout 2011 Ford Mustang HID package.

The most commonly appearing HID bulb in 5000k is a Philips D1S, D2R, etc.

Below are two examples of a 5000k xenon bulb that I feel most accurately capture their color, or lack thereof.

I had a 2018 Limited that I had these bulbs in and loved them. I traded the 2018 for a 2021 TRD OffRoad and the stock led is not as bright as my Lasfit led bulbs. I'm very tempted to buy older housings and remove the stock leds.

I also got this particular headlight set last year. I'm happy with it. It's expensive, and down to your personal preference you may wish to try a brighter conventional halogen first, but these LED headlights do seem to work very well despite being LEDs in a halogen enclosure. Seeing these LEDs in action, I'm never upset with having spent the big money on them.

I’m glad you took the leap and are pleased.

LED in a halogen enclosure doesn’t automatically mean there will be poor performance. There’s a lot of unsubstantiated claims from posters obsessing over what DOT, SAE, and other “approved” markings are present, or not.

I wish more people would just buy what they want (funds allowing) and not let forums scare them out of a purchase. LED bulbs come with instructions on how to index them for both reflector and projector housings.

There are even some weird OEM combos such as:

2nd gen Prius having FACTORY xenon bulbs (D2R, bulb has reflector shield) in a reflector housing

And a Chevy Volt having halogens in a projector housing (with no LED or xenon option for that entire generation!)

thank you for the transparent and honest response

the fact that it draws air from somewhere would indicate the stock headlight is already open to the environment despite the dust cover on the back of the headlight?
