Do people installing this realize they are removing the front crash beam? I'm all for mods, but not when they literally remove a vital safety component.

its impossible for a trd pro skid plate on a venture because all ventures have kdss and the skid plates on pros cant fit them cuz of things in the way sorry u didnt know that

Had you stated I do not have the TRD Pro skid plate, which is supposedly required by CBI, it would be much more clear. Just "I have a venture not a pro" says nothing. On CBI's website it does not state anything about needing to ditch the OEM skid, again you're just being lazy and not listening. The video/pictures do no show the OEM skid/braces, as they likely were installing aftermarket skids right after the video was made.

As stated by everyone else - your factory skid mounts right up. The red line matches on the red line. If you and a shop can't figure that out, you should probably go find someone who can... it's not rocket science.

Attached are a few photos to walk your rude ass through the steps of mounting the skid plate. You need to reinstall the skid plate braces for the OEM skid. Additionally, CBI doesn't remove the OEM skid on their install prep video.

Skid mounting locations - all below your "bumper issue" 5th Gen 4Runner Skid Plates - Complete Buyers Guide

Video for info on this bumper from CBI - go to the 8:50 mark, he talks about skid plates and not affecting the install location. Login • Instagram

I did forget to mention - the stupid plastic skid plate extension will be tossed.. the metal is the only part going on. MY BAD lol

i like how you assume im so autistic i didnt try this.

so here you go.. get ready to feel stupid...
notice how the skid plate in the video you posted doesnt look like the skidplate on the 2021 venture ?

let me repharse OEM pro skid plate does not fit on a venture or any 4runner with a kdss without having to cut off the sides

so here what happens when you line up the mounting bracket with the hole on the skid plate.. notice how i have to move the skid plate about 2-3in upwards to fit with the holes .... notice something in the way.. ? i cant move the skid plate high enought to actually match with the holes without the the two edges hitting each other and overlapping sitting one ontop of another

Also, FYI, that "square window like area" is not the winch access window..LOL.. The "winch access holes" are on both sides of the fairlead. The "Square window like area" is where your plastic filler plate use to reside, NOT the skid plate. SO thank you for proving to all of us your high level of understanding of the product you purchased.

oh really ?

shows how much you know about a product you dont actually own..
the square window is just another window to access it as well as the sides

You forgot about the other part of your original statement, "all ventures have KDSS".

That part of your statement is also false.

and we already told you. You are going to have to trim your skid plate to get it to fit around the lip area.

Or you can use spacers.

Or you can adjust your bumper forward.

you are the only one who said that everyone else said IT WILL BOLT RIGHT UP... not true and also nah man it will be way too much tripping and deform the whole oem skid plate its a good 3in id have to take off because u gotta lift it upwards to match with the holes and the angle of it

also the corners also will be hitting and are too wide

Nice try. Where your hand is, and where that opening is, is not where the "skid plate" goes. That is where the filler plate typically resides. Your original statement was, that the skid plate goes there, which is FALSE.

In your previous pictures, you didn't present a picture of any additional cutouts on the CBI bumper. You only presented a picture with winch access holes next to the fairlead and a area with the CBI logo is. The CBI logo area is not an access hole. and I still don't know what hole you are sticking your hand in. Learn to post better pictures.... or better yet, stop posting irrelevant pictures.

Not my problem, that you have issues on how to communicate. LEARN2POST.
you truely are a clown

i said that the skid plate would hit the lower half of the middle square window and if you look at my picture if i was to move it 3in upwards it would but since i cant do that i cant take a picture to show you since im prevented by moving it upwards by the lip

i explained that and you guys kept insisting oh it will bolt right up.. what a waste of time.. people talk about the object they dont have in their hands like me..... i was hoping somoene who DOES have this bumper and could confirm but no one seem to
