Blown running lights

Hi all,

Was towing to Virginia the other night, and lost the truck and trailer running lights. I stopped at Malloy Toyota, and they gave me a price of $250 for the fuse...is there a chance it's something simpler?

Thanks

This is very likely the cause, but you need to look into WHY the fuse blew. I had a bare wire in the circuit of by trailer that took me a couple of hours to find.

you have to inspect the trailer wiring .. Rodents now get food in the trailer wiring area...
Put a 12volt lamp in the blown out fuse socket.. Use a volt meter on the trailer wiring ..
