LaminX fog light covers installed tonight!

Just finished up installing the Laminx fog light covers in yellow. Took about 5mins a side trying to get most of the bubbles out, pretty happy with end results!

I'm sure the light output will be diminished as it is a rather thick film but either way, I'm not looking for high output lighting, want to be more visible at night and in severe weather low visibility conditions, etc.

30 seconds to clean the lenses properly and apply it perfectly? I'd love to see the outcome of that lol

I would like to see the color it puts out. I am thinking about doing the same to my fogs.

Thanks again!

So to confirm, people are only using their fogs with the yellow tint in fog/snow/low vis situations and this isn't one of those things where driving all the time with yellow fogs on looks cool?

OK. Takes 60 seconds. I exaggerated. I’m not sure what you’re doing, but applying it correctly will not leave bubbles. Start in the center and work outward. Literally takes a minute and no bubbles or any reason to be “working on it”.

Technically, "Yes" to both. The Yellow/Amber light does better in Low Viz (inclement) weather. And obviously, with you going with with the Yellow film/glass/plastic lens, you do get that permanent "look" regardless if you're have lights on. I went with the LASFIT Switchback Fog Lights because I wanted the option of having Amber (Yellow) lights but didn't want/care for the permanent look.

Did same mod to mine a while back and super happy with it.

Question to OP - what is that covering your garage floor? Looks really nice and I would like to get something to cover my oil-stained garage floor once I get the transfer case on my wife's garage-queen CJ-7 re-sealed this winter. Call it OCD but I hate a messy looking garage floor.

It's the SwissTrax garage floor tiles, super easy to install and clean up as well. I enough work on my cars from oil changes, brakes, suspensions, and once did a clutch swap, and floor held very well. Also pretty comfy on your back when you lay down on them. Let me know if you have any more questions!

I'll be posting up pics soon of the light output, been tied up with Thanksgiving festivities over here.

I think it's mostly done to look cool, as the overwhelming majority havent also done the Antman Independent Fog mod:

Finally! Independent Fog-Light MOD = done.

Otherwise, people will be running thier yellow fogs with their ultra-bright headlights which is counterproductive when you actually need it.
