truck shop cam gussets

If you are local to San Diego and want to get some "cam gussets" done, check out The Truck Shop in San Diego. The shop does has their own cam gusset design that reinforces the cam gusset tabs but goes further and reinforces the front Lower control arm bracket that the cam gusset rides in and protects the face of the cam also, and can act like a skid plate.

in terms of design, its somewhere in between the Total Chaos version, and the Marlin Crawler version. They all do the same thing, they just go about doing it differently.

Cheers!!!

Truck shop has been around for years. The SD Tacoma owners always recommended them for any kind of work. Glad to see they are still knocking it out.

I have nothing but good things to say about The Truck Shop, been going there for quite some time.

Typically drive down from time to time from LA to get some stuff worked on that I personally don’t have the space or tools to do myself.

Mind DMing me how much it set you back? i am actually looking into getting both the TC cam gussets and Marlin Crawler LC slid plus TC spindle gussets

I pm'd you.

I was going to go with TC cam gussets / TC spindle gussets but ended up going with the truck shops versions of both after discussing it with the shop and looking at some of the customer's trucks.

I think the truck shop offers a better product than TC.

As for Marlin Crawler, they are designed for a different purpose than what I needed. I tend to play more in the desert than in the rocks.

I’m actually heading there this Friday for an alignment. It’s been off since my trip from Moab and Telluride back in July lol I’ll talk with them and see what they have to say. I kinda do a little bit of everything but my trips tend to be pretty long and usually out of SoCal. I wanted to get them done before my next trip at the end of the month but timing is just bad with my other car
