2022 Grill question
I am looking into getting a Pro grill for a 2022 ORP. I noticed they moved the TSS sensor down from the 2021 model. In my simple mind, I wouldn't need the 2020-2021 grill that has the TSS cutout. Would I be able to use a 2014-2019 grill?

This one fit my 22 ORP and there were no tss issues. It arrived 2 days later and install was simple.
These guys had pretty bad reviews online, but they had it in stock and I had it 2 days later. No complaints from me.

If going OEM the new version is tad cheaper, you can get both upper grill and TRD pro "toyota" part at $400. I have a 2017 model and I'm still on the fence on buying it.

The problem you might run into if buy as a combo is the upper grille change when the TSS was added. We could definitely get you a 2014-19 grille cover with a 2020+ mesh. Let us know if you place an order and would like that package.

Upper grill removal on 2022?
Just picked up my 2022 TRD ORP yesterday. Love it.
I started doing my TRD Pro grill swap (in the middle of it now) and I find it impossible to remove the upper grill. I've removed the six clips and the 10mm bolt, and the upper grill will pull away. However, it's still clearly attached to the middle grill piece that runs under the Toyota emblem. The upper (the one I'm removing) and middle section appear to be one, single piece.
Anyone with a 2022 do the grill swap? What did I miss? Thank you.

Figured it out - I was so skittish about breaking something I wasn't pulling hard enough.

Looking to do the same, price tag is a little painful just for a new grill but I love the look of it.

Yup, willing to pay 200 or less for a qulity setup, not a penny more.

I ordered a kit from 14-19 kit from cartrimhome for my 22 ORP. We’ll see how it goes when it eventually arrives.

interested in the quality , I've seen a few pix of aftermarket grill cover and there seems to be 1/4" gap on each side. Still trying to hold off on this mod but do like the look

Can we swap out the 2021 with the 2022 grill to move the TSS lower and open up the top of the grill for a lightbar?? That would be marvelous!!!

Didn't the tss move down from the 2021 only if you got a model with panoramic view monitor (pvm) because of the added camera? Without the camera, I thought tss stayed in the same position.

That is correct. The TSS only moves down if there's a multi-terrain monitor installed.

It should still be able to be retrofitted, right? Is the area above the TSS blank or does it also have that useless plastic piece that would get in the way of a light bar?

It has a plastic piece molded in. The full height is blocked.
