The original design came from a California resident who is running this set up with no problems. Everything on these kits looks right at home in the engine compartment.
If it were a problem it would take an extremely well trained eye from a super inspector to identify the relocation. Not trying to knock any state inspectors out there, but the chances of that are almost nonexistent.
