2 issues with the drive system when driving any help?

I have two issues with my rig and I've been too lazy to address it and just been living with the minor discomfort it gives me. I'm finally reaching out for any tips or suggestions to help me identify or fix the problems if any.

1) At around 60-70mph I have a low humming noise when on the accelerator, and if I let off its completely silent. From my guess the noise is center axle to rear diff region. I serviced my rear diff fluids late last year and know the fluid level to be not the issue. The humming was before the fluid change in any regards.

2) Also, around 60-70mph I notice my accelerator is not smooth at all and has basically on/off wall to accelerate when I'm pressing the pedal. Passengers in my car always complain that I'm rocking or jerking the car when I'm driving because of this. Basically if I'm cruising at say 65mph and let off the accelerator to coast then reengage it, no matter how lightly I try to engage the accelerator its not smooth. My foot continues to press down the accelerator until the car registers it and it kicks it up 1-2 hundred RPMs or so slight jerking and humming from issue #1. I can then slowly back off the accelerator to make it maintain RPMs or press more to accelerate.

My rig has 2.5-3" lift, 33" tires, steel bumpers, etc. I'm sure the weight and lift plays a factor but I don't believe it's the root cause of the issues. Car currently has around 56k mi on the ODO. Any input or suggestions are appreciated...

If no codes I’m thinking torque converter locking up / unlocking.

Sometimes a clogged EGR can mimic the same behavior and cause bucking on tip-in as well.

Is there any way for me to check this on my own? I dont know where the EGR valves are on this engine. Not to sure how to check torque converter either, might need to run that by an offroad shop.

Is there a throttle position sensor on these engines? I honestly haven't looked but I have had similar issues caused by failing TPS on other vehicles.
