Why did you choose the trim level that you did?

2021 Nightshade 4x4, Cosmic Black
- AWD
- Ventilated seats
- Leather, seats felt best
- It’s easier to add a roof rack and a lift to a Limited than it is to add all the above to a Pro.

TRDORP

I had a 2013 FJ that had items I liked but had things I were not fond of like a lot of blind spots and no noise insulation to name just 2, so I looked at a 2013 T4R SR5P didn’t have everything I wanted but settled for it and modded like I wanted.
Along comes Oct 2020, unfortunately it was totaled.
Insurance did right by me. So called my dealership contact and told them I wanted a Black TRDORP.
It had all the things my FJ had plus it was a T4R.
Started modding to my likeing now I am waiting on my Eibach components to complete (yea right!) my build.

TRD ORP

It was the only package that offered everything I wanted, and nothing that I didn't.

TRD ORP
Softex seat and the crawl control options.

Also couldn't afford a Pro.

ORP

I was planning on upgrading the suspension anyway, so I got everything I wanted from the Pro version and none of the extra stuff I didn't care about.

ORP as I prefer that look over all others. I traded an 18 Limited in for my 21 ORP.

2017 TRD Off Road

- Cloth seats (I hate leather)
- Factory lockers/ATRAC
- 4WD with shifter lever (no knob)

I wanted a white TRD Pro, so I just ended up making my own without the softex/leather.

This. The Premium added a few nice touches, but a KDSS OR was the starting point.

TRP Pro for me. I wanted the upgraded suspension and have no plans to do any added lift or suspension upgrades. Very happy with my choice. Next February will be a year of ownership and the 4Runner has been the perfect fit for my needs.

Seems I'm the outlier here. 2018 SR5 Premium w/3 row seating.

I wanted to get an ORP or Pro for the reasons mentioned by others, but my son talked me into the SR5 Premium with 3 row seating which is not available on the ORP or Pro. Glad I did; my grandkids love the back seat!

The Premium level gives the softex seats (I don't like cloth seats), and the ATRAC is almost as good as a locker. I added a modest (3") leveling kit for a bit more ground clearance.

2020 TRD Pro. I wanted all the bells and whistles and the special color (Army green).
Then Toyota goes ahead and offers almost all trim levels in AG! LoL
