Pricing seems a bit steep for something you might never use, but then again, I have a CRAP-tonne of money into this 4runner at this point, so what's another $80.00 right?

I have one in every vehicle. They do not work well in high wind. They are significantly lighter and smaller than traditional ABC extinguishers. They do not expire like traditional units. Could easily fit on a seat riser too.

If I decide to go with a molle panel mount, what would be the best combination of a secure fit and the ability to quickly remove in an emergency?

I tried the rubber strap type but didn’t like it. Now use Velcro type that the jeep guys use on the roll bars. Super secure. Super quick to access.

Guess it depends on your Molle panel. I have the FinnFab style with the rivnut holes… So I used the quick release metal mount that came with the fire extinguisher and secured the mount to the Molle panels via 5/16 bolts

I don't have one yet. Still looking into it, but the Rago looks good to me.

There are a plethora of molles to choose from. Pros/cons to all.

I went with FinnFab mainly because of the rivnut holes, but liked his 12v BlueSea power panel cutout too.

Good luck

I see a lot of people using a molle panel on the rear side window to store the extinguisher. Looks like a great spot, but is there a way to do this that will be safe in an accident? I don't want that thing hitting me or my kids in the head. I see a lot of panels and mounts out there, but are they strong enough to be safe?

While mounting a fire extinguisher on a rear Molle panel may look great for Instagram that is the last place I would want it to be. In an emergency situation you want to be able to access it quickly. Mount it under your driver or passenger seat.

Don’t even get me started about people who think it’s a good idea to mount axes and shovels in the interior of their 4Runners

Under the seat is definitely my first choice, but I don't think there is a way to do it without limiting the seat position. I don't feel comfortable with it under the driver's seat, so it would need to be on the passenger side. My wife is short and I don't think it would work too well. It's probably fine for me if I was sitting there. I'd rather not put it on a molle panel, but I can't think of another good spot. If I didn't have kids I would mount it on the back of the passenger seat probably. I'm not concerned with how it looks, just want the safest place. I have never looked at Instagram once in my life, but I can imagine how much stupid stuff is on there.

Sorry thirteen… Old Tanker is right. I forgot to say I bought them off the YotaMafia sight. And they delivered them with in a week… I was shocked.
