I am glad it is working out so far for everyone. Mine still haven't shipped (not sure how that works since I got mine ordered before I even posted this).

Amazon does this all the time. Cheap stuff floats around. I just happened to be looking at the time. Why I shared it.

Fingers crossed I get mine. No hurry of course.

Just like "thinkviv" said. The deal is still available, though from a different seller, 166 Auto Inc. I purchased on the 11th from that seller and supposedly getting delivered today. I still have some genuine filters I got from a dealer a while ago and going to compare once these cheaper ones come in. If they end up fakes. I can just easily return them to Amazon. Thanks "Slowgoat" for posting the deal.

interested to see your thoughts. I'm not due for an oil change until jan/feb depending on if we drive the toyota on road trips or the Ferd. So the box of filters is prolly gonna get lost in the garage lol

The filters I received look exactly like what MOCO4 has posted except the box I got was beat up and torn, below are my photos in comparison to a filter I had on hand that I purchased from my local dealership around 2.5 years ago. Long story short, the only difference was that the Amazon filters have a lighter color than the one I purchased from the dealership, which could be due to a number of different factors.

Points of comparison:
  • Holographic sticker quality
  • Quality of box that filter came in
  • Markings on the box and "Made in Thailand"
  • Included accessories (o-rings and plastic drain tool)
  • Material filter is made of
  • Number of pleats on filter
  • Construction of filter
  • Rigidity of filters (whether the Amazon filters squished easier than dealership filter)
  • Font printed on filter which says "TOYOTA 15613-YZZA2"

I got mine Monday as well; they look identical to the ones above.

Will post pics of mine soon, but I don't have a known OEM one to compare to.

What tool are you all liking for removal of the filter housing?

I see a few options. I need to snag one in the next few months.
